The RDT Committee: Joining Forces for Swine Innovation
Created in 2017 and coordinated by the CDPQ, the Swine Industry Research, Development, and Transfer (RDT) Committee brings together 16 experts from 14 public and private organizations. Together, they are shaping the future of swine research in Quebec.
We consult with industry stakeholders to identify research and innovation priorities. By fostering networking and collaboration between industry partners and the scientific community, we optimize the use of available expertise and infrastructure, while ensuring that new knowledge and technological innovations quickly reach producers.
Beyond the main committee, we coordinate several specialized working groups (data exploitation, artificial intelligence, knowledge transfer) that mobilize numerous external experts. This collective strength allows us to respond effectively to emerging issues in the Quebec pork sector.
